Are you a travel agency?
​
Travel agencies tend to provide you with generic flight and hotel reservations followed by a list of Google Map’s top restaurants. At Greece with Alex, we are locals who specialize in curated experiences so you can enjoy a vacation of local luxury in a way that a Greek would!

What do you book?
​
We book everything except for your flight! We will help you decide on your flight details (and advise you on the best time to book), and after that we book your accommodations, dining, beach clubs, excursions, activities, and anything else that needs a reservation!
​
All reservations and bookings will be added to your Google Calendar so you will be able to access the information from your phone but without need for data. Included in this is all relevant info - reservation name or confirmation number, attire suggested (as needed), best plates to order at restaurants, Greek wines to try (yes, we have great wine!), local customs to know in case you're here during a holiday, etc.

What about places that don’t need reservations?
​
We’ll tell you all Insta-worthy cafes and bars, late night eateries, beautiful Greek churches, ancient sites, and more that are worth your while to visit. All of these recommendations will of course be curated to your travel destinations and personal preferences.

Similar information will be provided in terms of dress code (for example - at Greek monasteries, women must wear a skirt or dress, and all visitors must cover their shoulders and knees).

Do you help me get ready for the trip?
​
Of course! You’ll receive a comprehensive document detailing relevant tips and information about your specific trip - you’ll be prepared no matter the circumstance.

It’s important to know how to be prepared in case you lose a government document, what electronics to pack, phone apps to download, and more. Additionally, you’ll receive fun facts and important information about the mainland and/or island destinations you have chosen so you can blend right in!
